Increase demand for hotel space possible

AAA received several calls today about trips to Alabama beaches.
AAA Spokesperson Clay Ingram said, “It doesn’t appear that this is going to effect tourism down in that area very much.“
But the oil spill could actually increase demand for hotel space along Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
Ingram said, “So we have seen that in years past where the demand for rooms goes way way up because of the volunteers that go down and sort of help repair the situation.“
